In Singapore this week, an emotional letter by People Like Us, Singapore’s de facto gay rights lobby group, has failed to convince legislators to consider decriminalising homosexual oral sex when they review the Penal Code with the intention of decriminalising heterosexual oral sex.

Overheard in the forums: "Seems to me that the uptight Taiwan authorities were simply looking for an excuse to justify the raid. The raid occurred NOT because the police were concerned about public health issues BUT because the Taiwan police are anti-gay. Let's call a spade a spade, and dispense with the blatant hypocrisy."
